HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
I hope everyone had a good holiday. So, instead of watching the real fireworks, if there were any, my friends and I huddled in my house-mate's room to watch fireworks from random countries on youtube. Before that we ate Japanese food at Tajima and went to Walmart to look for sparklers. I was so excited... until I found out that sparklers are illegal. D: I HAD NO IDEA... We always used them back home :( I was really sad...






Last week, we took a road trip to Venice Beach. We rode bicycles... I hadn't ridden one in years. This guy on a bike was sooo rude - he basically told me to get the fuck out of his way - dang girl, relax. YAHHH, sometimes I really don't like southern California...people here have extreme road rage, even on bikes. After bike riding, we stopped by that restaurant where Paul Rudd and Jason Segel go to eat fish tacos in "I Love You, Man". The menu outside said it was $19!.. PASS.

Afterwards, we tried going to Chinatown via Google Maps on my iPhone... but that was fail when the directions lead us to a dark deserted alley. so we went to Little Tokyo instead and looked at cute stores and ate cute food.

OHH, I watched Avatar in 3D. It was goood. It makes being human kind of suck. I LOVE 3D. It's kind of an AMAZING experience.

Sorry there are no photo outfits or fashion related anything, like ever. I have no one to take my photos :(. My outfits are never photo-worthy anyway. I REALLY want to thank readers out there, wherever you are, who have patience to keep up with my blog and/or take time to leave comments. I apologize for being so boring. My computer sounds like it's going to die. I was in class on Monday and it was soooo loud that people actually stared. Anyway, it's been 1 year since my first post today! nothing is going on in my life - just school and work. I was sick last week and I think I got sick again? I've been coughing my lungs out since Saturday. Other than that, my life is pretty dull... lonesome. Halloween was okay. I was a cat lady. We ate korean food and drank soju in our costumes. That is all. I feel like I've been wearing the same clothes every dang week. I still have a bag of clothes in the garage that I need to donate/sell. I bought some stuffs online though :)

I went to an annual festival over the weekend called PIFA. It's when Pacific Islanders gather in San Diego to celebrate in music, dance, food, and culture. It's like the same thing every year, but I love it... I ate a huge box of Guam food<3

My summer is officially over. I had my first class yesterday. I took classes with this prof. like 4 or 5 times in a row. It's boresville, but I prefer familiarity so it's okay.

The wedding in Seattle was beautiful. I love Seattle... it's so refreshing. I miss it. It's kind of like SF but cleaner. I seem to like cold cities and warm islands - how ...weird. The people that I encountered/observed were incredibly nice. The bicyclist guy riding his bike gave me a smile as he rode by. even the security at the airport was super cool. future potential living place. UGHHHH CALIFORNIA.

Ivar's. The calamari literally tasted like homeless man. The hummus was good...but the server guy took my plate away before I could finish...arghh! They do, however, have a delicious 75 cent cup of clam chowder. It's the same price at their airport - what a deal.

I don't know if I want to continue blogging anymore. I have noo motivation. lack of feedback is kind of sad, even though I know I shouldn't really care about stupid things like that. but gash, I'm like extremely boring duh. What can I do? Goodnight y'alls.

seattle bound

herro................ I haven't updated in a while. I've been a busy bee, working and stuff and doing huge errands in between. I flew to the Bay Area last weekend to help my mom pack my grandparents' things. Today, my mom just flew in from Oakland and she will be staying with us for like a week. However, I'm flying to Seattle tomorrow early morning so I could attend my old friend's wedding. SHE'S MY AGE! so crazy. It hasn't really hit me yet that I'm going to Seattle, WA...TOMORROW. I'm so excited! a new state that I've never been to yet. Here are some pics from the past weeks.

back to San Diego. We had some Mexican food the first night I came back - yum yum carne asada fries.

Today was the hottest day ever!...I waited for the bus for like 6, 7 minutes at this stop with just benches - no shade. AT ALL. It was like 3PM and the sun was burning through my skin.



In other news, the other day we went to IKEA for the millionth time. specifically to eat their Swedish meatballs. nom nom nom. I just realized it's already "Fall". Where did my summer go? oh that's rite.. I didn't have one:(. going to bed now, gots work tomorrow!

School's been alright, less awkward than I thought.. ahaha. My grandparents are moving back to Guam, I think. I wanna gooooo! They are quite elderly so I'm like really scared for them to ride in a plane. I wish I could just teleport them. hhmmm the weather looked gloomy today so I wore a sweater dress and black stirrup leggings that I haven't seen in forever. I realize I now love black stirrup leggings... they make my legs look so slim and long :D. My gash, I'm so starving right now. We're making chicken adobo - probably not gonna eat dinner until like 2:30am - SO UNHEALTHY.

This was taken after I dropped my camera:(. there's a new place called "crepe world" that just opened. I got nutella and green tea ice cream. It tasted good but had poor presentation. but i mean, taste can't really be controlled because nutella/fruits/ice cream are always good! but yeah, i was expecting genki crepes or sophie's crepes style. but NOPE :(

We went to IKEA like 3 or 4 times this summer. Sooo fun there, especially riding those cart things with suuuuper smooth wheels that they provide when you enter the warehouse portion :D. ermm, I just finished session 1 of summer school, now attending session 2. I'm supposed to take two classes this session and be done with undergraduate school forever, but I might have to stay another quarter at school. I don't think I can handle two accelerated summer classes right now. I'm so exhausted everyday. And since I moved further away from school, I have to wake up extra early :(. I'm seeing a counselor tomorrow to see what I can do.
