sun on my shoulders.

but they got sunburned.

I went to an annual festival over the weekend called PIFA. It's when Pacific Islanders gather in San Diego to celebrate in music, dance, food, and culture. It's like the same thing every year, but I love it... I ate a huge box of Guam food<3

ribs, chicken, red rice, pickled cucumber and daigo, and chicken kelaguen

My summer is officially over. I had my first class yesterday. I took classes with this prof. like 4 or 5 times in a row. It's boresville, but I prefer familiarity so it's okay.

The wedding in Seattle was beautiful. I love Seattle... it's so refreshing. I miss it. It's kind of like SF but cleaner. I seem to like cold cities and warm islands - how ...weird. The people that I encountered/observed were incredibly nice. The bicyclist guy riding his bike gave me a smile as he rode by. even the security at the airport was super cool. future potential living place. UGHHHH CALIFORNIA.

Seattle is so green.

wall of gums and my tiny contribution

rows of pasta at pike's market

Ivar's. The calamari literally tasted like homeless man. The hummus was good...but the server guy took my plate away before I could finish...arghh! They do, however, have a delicious 75 cent cup of clam chowder. It's the same price at their airport - what a deal.

me (and my awkward hand) and a middle school friend outside the church.

Southwest airlines hot chocolate <3

I don't know if I want to continue blogging anymore. I have noo motivation. lack of feedback is kind of sad, even though I know I shouldn't really care about stupid things like that. but gash, I'm like extremely boring duh. What can I do? Goodnight y'alls.

hey sindy... i got bored and decided to check out your blog as yet another form of procrastination haha.

anyways nice blog. you have some really really nice pictures. and what looks like a pretty legit camera. (you know the one right next to the "awkward hand")

anyways PIFA looked fun. wish I could have gone. I definitely plan on going down sometime with my roommate and check out islander grill though. I really miss the food.

i only put this comment due to your last line haha. listen you cant be boring. i mean i lead a fairly boring life, and what little i know of you seems interesting. (how can such beautiful photos come from a boring person? and youre from guam... thats like automatically interesting)

anyways hopefully this lifts your spirits a bit, and thanks for distracting me from homework haha. see you later.

please don't stop blogging. i admire your photography and the simplicity of your site. i never comment, but i just wanted to let you know i'm probably not the only one who loves your blog but is too lazy/shy to comment most of the time. your life is anything but boring from what i can tell. everything you post is inspiring, and you should definitely keep at it :) by the way, you look breathtaking in every photo you're in, especially the first one in this post.

I've always been a fan of the simplicity and elegance of this blog. It's just flawless in so many ways... ;p you kinda make me wanna redo my own blog and start on a fresh page...

Seattle sounds like it was loads of fun! What on earth was that gum wall anyway? ;p was it near the wedding? that top you wore for the wedding is so pretty too...

Hey Sindy! :) I have to say that the wall of gum is a bit gross but I guess when they're all together like that, it's not so bad. :/

All the food from the festival looks so good. :) I didn't know that you lived in San Diego. How is it like there? I'm thinking of moving down to the west coast sometime in the future but I'm not sure where and SD is one of my choices. I heard from someone that they find it a bit small? Not sure if you feel the same about it but anyway, would like to hear what you think about it. :)
